Responsibilities
- System Development
- Write, improve and test programs based on functional or technical detailed analysis.
- Perform integration, regression tests and performance tests to verify consistency and interaction with other components of the applications.
- Translate the functional analysis into a technical analysis to create a framework within which the system will be realized and draw up a global and documented technical analysis.
- Under some circumstances and conditions, capable of directly discussing with Business to capture their requirements and translate them.
- IT Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Support the IT team in the execution of IT Testing (System Testing and IT E2E Testing)
- Support the IT Team in the development of an acceptance test environment.
- Support the users in performing their tests.
- Critically analyze the test results, test defects and make the necessary adjustments (or have them made).
- Implementation
- Implement and follow up the novelties (programs, parameterization, documentation, ...)
- Take into account possible interactions with other domains and, after agreement of the business.
- Provide technical support in the implementation of important projects.
Qualifications
- Must have a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience in a similar position.
- Experience in preparing technical analysis (preferably UML).
- High proven experience with development in a Guidewire environment.
- ACE certified in Policy Center.
- High proven experience in Policy Center configuration/integration.
- Knowledge of test methodology.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodology.
- Experience in the Insurance sector, preferably in Billing and Accounting.
- Certified in Billing Center or IS Integration or Claim Center.
- Knowledge of Guidewire Digital Portals.
- Experience with logging systems such as Datadog, Kibana.
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 methodology.
- Experience with Enterprise Architect.
- Leader profile: communicative, autonomous, proactive, flexible, polyvalent, stress resistant and strong team spirit.
