Overview
GVRC Compliance Data Analyst role at RSM UK. The role focuses on driving excellence in global VAT compliance and shaping VAT compliance services across the UK, EU, and beyond. You will be at the heart of a dynamic team, ensuring quality and efficiency in tax reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and data challenges.
- Translate client needs into technical solutions, leveraging tools like Alteryx to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions that meet client expectations.
- Build new workflows and enhance existing ones using Alteryx to support daily controls and processes. Design, build, and maintain APIs to support client onboarding, data workflows, and system integrations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, supporting others in improving analytical and technical skills to streamline data exchange processes.
- Present insights, progress, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
What we are looking for
- Strong understanding of financial data, reporting, and analytics.
- Advanced expertise in Alteryx is highly beneficial, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in database management and development (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
- A creative, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
- Experience in data analytics, project management, and technical solution design.
- Proficiency in API development and integration (REST, GraphQL, or similar).
