Overview

Hardware Engineer - Field Based role at hireful. Location: Nottingham, England, United Kingdom. Salary: £30,000 per annum + Company Car. Role type: Permanent / 9-5 / Mon-Fri. Location preference: Midlands (Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire).

Responsibilities

• Visit customers daily to perform reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a variety of equipment within the Multi-Functional Devices (MFD) remit, including printing, scanning and copying devices.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot equipment; carry out preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve technical faults, advise customers, manage stock levels, and complete accurate reports; maintain close contact with the call centre.
• Train customers on equipment use and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.
• Maintain a full UK Driving License requirement for consideration.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience as an IT hardware technician with exposure to MFDs (printing, scanning and copying devices) on both hardware and basic software aspects.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Willingness to work field-based in the Midlands region (Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire).
