We are seeking an exceptional Head of Aerospace to drive the growth, strategy, and performance of a leading Aerospace Business Unit.

About the Role

As Head of Aerospace, you will define and implement the division s strategic vision delivering cutting-edge aerospace systems from concept to certification, production, and beyond. You will play a pivotal role in securing new projects, building high-performing teams, and ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth, business development, and client acquisition.
• Oversee end-to-end aerospace program lifecycles design, development, certification, production, and support.
• Drive innovation in advanced composites, AI integration, sustainable solutions, and defence technologies.
• Ensure compliance with international aerospace standards (FAA, EASA, DoD, ITAR).
• Manage budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder relationships.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class engineering and project management team.
• Represent the organisation at industry events and strengthen client and partner relationships.

What We re Looking For

• 10+ years senior leadership experience in developing sales and new business in aerospace, defence, or advanced composites.
• Strong understanding of aerospace production processes.
• Proven track record in delivering complex aerospace projects.
• Charismatic communicator and effective negotiator.
• Results-driven leader, able to inspire and deliver in a multicultural environment.
• Formal qualifications relevant to aerospace or engineering.
