Location: Didsbury with nationwide travel
Reports to: Chief Customer Officer
Blume have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Team.
Blume is one of the UK’s leading customer acquisition specialists in the legal sector that is expanding rapidly across the UK, via both organic growth and M&A activity.
We are growing our business development team and are looking for someone who loves to build and develop lasting relationships and be passionate about business growth and expansion. We are looking for you to develop a prospective client list and work with the team to move them through the sales funnel.
You will also be stepping into the spotlight as you represent Blume Group at events and network gatherings with the aim to create new business opportunities. This role is critical to help our business flourish.
We’re growing fast—and we’re looking for a Head of Business Development to drive our next chapter.

What You’ll Do
- Lead growth strategy: Identify new market opportunities, revenue streams, and strategic partnerships.
- Build partnerships that matter: Develop relationships with law firms across both Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and other key stakeholders.
- Drive measurable results: Turn opportunities into revenue through smart, sustainable business development initiatives.
- Be the face of Blume: Represent us at industry events, legal conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Lead and inspire: Build and mentor a high-performing business development team as we scale.
- 5+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership, ideally in legal services, Medico-legal or insurance.
- A proven track record of driving revenue through strategic relationships.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of personal injury, clinical negligence, or legal services is a big advantage.
- A strategic thinker who can roll up their sleeves and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
