This is what you'll be doing: As a Head of Business Development - Construction Clients at Genie AI, you'll be joining us in a dynamic stage of our growth. Selling AI into construction is both challenging and rewarding - expect to use your creativity and commercial instincts to open doors.
- Sector penetration: Own Genie's growth strategy in construction, identifying high-value clients across contractors, developers, and engineering firms.
- Client acquisition: Prospect, pitch, and close deals with mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Strategic partnerships: Develop relationships with industry associations, procurement consortia, and construction law specialists.
- Tailored value proposition: Work with Product and Marketing to craft sector-specific messaging and case studies.
- Revenue growth: Build a scalable pipeline and consistently exceed sales targets.
- Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success to ensure clients achieve lasting value and expand accounts over time.

The skills you need to succeed in this role include:
- Proven success in B2B sales or business development, ideally in SaaS.
- Experience working with or selling into the construction industry.
- Strong network of senior decision-makers in contractors, developers, or infrastructure.
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
