An award-winning interior design firm in SW London is looking for an experienced and exceptional Head of Business Development. The role is based in stunning offices (4 days a week in the office, 1 day WFH post probation).

Responsibilities

  • Constantly be on the lookout for alternative opportunities for the company and assessing the viability of new opportunities, and building business cases
  • Submit annual strategy for new business opportunities
  • Weekly reporting to the CEO and Directors on the pipeline and ongoing opportunities
  • Writing new business proposals and ensuring that the protocols in place are adhered to and client briefs for proposals are met.
  • Devise and execute business trips and roadshows, representing the company and securing a schedule of meet and greets + attending industry events
  • Active participant in company finance meetings to present pipeline and leads
  • Implement and lead a system and structure that ensures thorough CRM protocol and systems are in place
  • Propose and submit to the Operations Director the annual budget for entertaining and travel costs as required.
  • Leading deal processes: Creating strategy, sourcing opportunities, performing analysis, and negotiating ‘win-internationally’ with clients across private residential and commercial development
  • Management of business relationships both externally and internally across the organisation
  • Working with the marketing team to spearhead industry events to promote the business

Qualifications

This candidate will need to have a proven track record of hitting targets, be highly numerate, client-facing, commercially savvy, and charming, with phenomenal communication skills! Experience with Creative/Design packages, in particular, InDesign experience.
