Head of Change

South West of England – Remote first (occasional site travel)

We’re proud to be exclusively partnering with a forward-thinking organisation in the South West to appoint a Head of Change.

This is a senior leadership role where you'll drive the change and transformation agenda—leading a portfolio of initiatives that deliver meaningful, customer-focused outcomes.

As a key figure in the organisation, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement—ensuring change is delivered efficiently and sustainably.

• Lead the Change Function – Inspire, support, and challenge teams while innovating for the future.
• Strategic Alignment – Collaborate with senior leaders to align change initiatives with business strategy.
• Manage the Change Portfolio – Oversee resources, risks, and dependencies across multiple programmes.
• Governance & Reporting – Develop clear roadmaps, transparent reporting, and fit-for-purpose governance.
• Own the Change Model – Ensure a consistent, end-to-end delivery approach.
• Budget Control – Manage change budgets, forecasts, and funding streams effectively.
• Ways of Working & Culture – Champion agile principles and promote a collaborative, customer-first mindset.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience leading complex change and transformation programmes
• Experience managing change portfolios and ensuring strategic alignment
• Knowledge of agile governance and delivery controls
• Strong financial management skills in a change environment
• Expertise in driving adoption and realising business benefits
• Experience managing service transitions and release cycles
• Leadership capability in building and developing high-performing change teams
