About The Role

Vista Health is seeking a commercially minded and strategically driven leader to take on the role of Head of Clinical Trials. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow our UK clinical research business, positioning Vista Health as a leading provider of clinical trials nationwide.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

• Driving business development and securing new partnerships with sponsors, CROs, and SMOs.
• Overseeing the operational delivery of clinical trials, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
• Building and nurturing long-term client relationships, delivering excellence in both patient care and diagnostic services.
• Constantly seeking opportunities to collaborate with partners to drive forward research and make a real difference to the UK trial landscape.
• Shaping and executing the strategic roadmap for Vista Health's clinical trials offering.

This is a full-time permanent role, working on a hybrid basis with regular travel. Ideally candidates will be based in Leeds, Manchester, the Midlands or London.

What you will do

• Lead the strategy and delivery of Vista Health's clinical trials services
• Drive business development and secure new trial opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, CROs, SMOs, and research partners
• Oversee trial mobilisation, delivery, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and radiology teams across MRI, CT, Endoscopy, X-Ray, and DEXA
• Monitor performance metrics, patient recruitment, and sponsor satisfaction.
• Represent Vista Health at industry events and conferences.

About you

• Senior-level experience in clinical trials, clinical research, or medical diagnostics
• Strong track record in business development, sales, or partnership growth
• Established relationships within the clinical trials ecosystem
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and trial governance
• Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and collaborate across teams
• Strategic, hands-on, and commercially minded, with a passion for improving healthcare through research
