What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of commodity managers for Gas Turbine Auxiliaries
- Develop and implement commodity strategies that support growing business, increase resilience of the supply chain and drive cost out
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including heads of procurement in each business and Corporate Procurement
- Actively participate in the development of Strategic Procurement aligned with the company’s mission
How You’ll Make An Impact
As Head of Commodity Management for Gas Turbine Auxiliaries you will lead and develop a high-performing team of commodity managers. Your role is to develop and implement commodity strategies that support our growing business, increase resilience of the supply chain and drive cost out. You will collaborate closely with key collaborators in the business, such as the heads of procurement in each business and Corporate Procurement.
What You Bring
- Proven skills in managing teams and developing people
- University degree in a technical or business related field or equivalent experience
- A collaborative and inclusive leadership style that fosters accountability and ownership within the team
- Track record in commodity strategy, contract management and capacity expansion initiatives
- Capability to negotiate and to operate in different cultures
- Knowledge of working with a global supplier base, in a functional matrix environment
