Hymans Robertson Personal Wealth launched in 2021. Our purpose is to bring greater financial wellbeing to people in the workplace through our guidance and advice services. Hymans Robertson Personal Wealth is a subsidiary of Hymans Robertson LLP.

Working with circa 30 large corporates, and with this number growing all the time, we provide financial coaching, wellbeing workshops, individual guidance sessions and financial advice to their employees, rapidly establishing ourselves as a leading provider of workplace wellbeing services. Alongside this it is our aim to be trusted financial planning experts for individuals and their families, both through our workplace activities and through other professional connections.

What will your role look like?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and commercially minded leader to take on the role of Head of Corporate . This individual will have overall responsibility for our Financial Wellbeing proposition for corporate clients, including the provision of financial wellbeing workshops, individual guidance sessions and financial coaching. They will ensure our proposition remains competitive and sufficiently differentiated in the market and will be responsible for driving a healthy and rapidly growing pipeline of corporate prospects, converting the required number per annum to meet our business plans.

  • We are open to considering candidates on a part time or full-time basis

Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include :

  • Own and evolve the financial wellbeing proposition for corporate clients, ensuring it remains competitive and differentiated in the market.
  • Drive the growth of the corporate client pipeline, ensuring a healthy and rapidly growing list of prospects.
  • Lead on the conversion of corporate prospects to clients, achieving annual targets aligned to the business plan.
  • Set and report against targets for revenue, costs and profitability in the corporate team, ensuring these are stretching but achievable.
  • Manage and coach direct reports, including the Head of Corporate Clients, who oversees internal business development as well as the client management and financial coaching teams.
  • Work closely with the financial planning team, technology team and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Report to the Personal Wealth Management Board on progress against targets, escalating any concerns or issues that may impact delivery of the business plan.
  • Promote our culture and values, acting as a role model and champion for the team.
  • Support the development of team members, fostering a motivated and thriving team environment.

To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have :

  • Proven experience in the corporate financial wellbeing market, with a strong network of corporate relationships.
  • Track record of business development and client conversion in the UK employee benefits market, with a proven ability to leverage these skills through others.
  • Led and developed top-performing teams of skilled professionals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • High levels of market and competitor awareness, with the ability to consider the impact on the evolution of our services.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and targets.
  • Collaborative approach to working with internal stakeholders.
  • Good level of IT literacy (Microsoft Office suite).
