Head of Customer Operations
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)
Our client is on a mission to revolutionise the way they experience Virtual Reality. Their award-winning VR chairs bring a new level of immersion to gaming, simulation, training, and entertainment. They are scaling fast, selling through global retailers including Amazon, Argos, Best Buy and Costco, and they are looking for a Head of Customer Operations to join their growing team.
This is a key role, ensuring that every customer - from hardcore VR gamers to global enterprise clients - receives the world-class service they expect from an innovative tech leader.
They are looking for a proactive, customer-focused applicant who has a genuine passion and interest in virtual reality gaming and technology.
Must Haves:
- Genuine enthusiasm for VR and gaming.
- Strong understanding of Shopify.
- Proven experience with CRM systems (HubSpot ideal).
- Solid grasp of logistics (domestic: UK & USA; international).
- Experience in technology product launches.
- Marketing exposure: Email, Google Ads, Meta Ads.
- Understanding of China manufacturing and logistics.
- Hands-on technical support experience with technology products.
- Manage their CRM system (HubSpot) and oversee all inbound customer service, sales, technical, and support queries.
- Lead and coordinate external customer service teams and agents during peak sales and seasonal periods.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to support global logistics and day-to-day operations.
- Oversee channel management across Shopify, Amazon, Argos, Best Buy, Costco, and more.
- Manage refunds, returns, and replacements via international 3PL providers.
- Take ownership of review site management (Trustpilot, Google Reviews, Judge.me, Amazon, and others).
