Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance, due diligence, and risk management for all property-related activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, from architects to local authorities.
• Be involved from acquisitions of new sites through to completion.
• Advise on scope of works, specifications, and costing.
• Ensure all projects uphold the highest standards of health, safety, environmental management, and sustainability.
• Take responsibility for all pre-con activities and continue to advise operations teams on the long-term upkeep of sites.
• Lead on budget management, reporting, and continuous improvement of development policies.
• Implement supply chain policies and compliance with industry best practices, including community relations and considerate construction.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with experience delivering construction projects in the UK and the EU.
• Work with Architects, Planners, Project Management teams and Engineers to create and deliver the programme of works on time, on budget, and to exacting standards.
• Ideally have experience on both small upgrade works and large-scale, complex construction projects, with proficiency in cost management, tender processes, and financial reporting.
• Experience of working with Private Equity-backed businesses is an advantage, as is comfort working with a small agile team.
• On occasion, projects may be undertaken on live sites; a good understanding of the compliance around that is needed.
• This role extends into development in Europe, so the ability and willingness to travel is a must.
