New Gorbals Housing Association is a dynamic community-controlled organisation. We own and manage 2,500 homes for rent and factor 1,900 owners' homes. We are committed to the sustained physical, social and economic regeneration of Gorbals. We are looking to fill the following post (35 hours per week).

Head of DevelopmentEVH Grade 10 — Spinal Points PA17 - PA19£80,045 - £83,399

Based in the heart of the Gorbals, we are committed to creating sustainable, inclusive communities and delivering excellence in housing and placemaking. This role leads on planning and delivery of new build, modernisation and environmental projects and contributes to the strategic direction, governance and operational success of the Association as a senior manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on all aspects of new build and regeneration projects, including site identification, feasibility, planning, procurement and contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and line manage development staff.
  • Identify and secure development opportunities and funding, including private finance and government grants.
  • Contribute to corporate planning, financial forecasting and carbon reduction strategies.
