This role can be offered on a hybrid basis from our Croxley Park office in Watford.

What the role involves

Online Trading & Performance

  • Deliver online sales and profit targets across H. Samuel and Ernest Jones websites
  • Lead the creation of budgets, forecasts and trading plans to maximise sales, conversion and AOV
  • Drive actionable insight, KPI reporting and optimisation strategies to improve results

Customer Experience

  • Ensure websites reflect brand values through storytelling, inspirational content and exceptional shopping experiences
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, SEO and Customer teams to grow traffic and customer engagement
  • Oversee website content, navigation, product placement and promotions
  • Manage launches of new products, seasonal campaigns and promotional events
  • Partner with UX and Product teams to continuously enhance site functionality and customer journeys

Merchandising & Product Ranging

  • Partner with Buying & Merchandising to optimise online product ranges
  • Ensure product content is accurate, compelling and commercially effective
  • Manage onsite product presentation and visual merchandising to drive conversion
  • Monitor competitors and market activity to inform strategy
  • Use data and analytics to uncover opportunities, optimise performance and shape future plans
  • Contribute to Signet’s digital roadmap, working closely with the Director of Customer, IT and Digital Product teams

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Ecommerce Trading team, setting clear goals and driving capability
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure collaboration, agility and best practice across all digital trading activity

About you

We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially astute leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

You’ll bring:

  • A proven track record in Ecommerce trading leadership, ideally in a multi-brand retail environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing online P&L and delivering growth strategies
  • Expertise in Ecommerce KPIs, forecasting, reporting and using data to drive decisions
  • Experience in customer acquisition, retention and conversion strategies
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing high-performing teams
  • Resilience, agility and a hands-on approach to driving results
