Full Stack Developer (Contract, Remote – UK Time )

Your Role

We're now looking for a visionary Head of Engineering to lead our tech team and help scale the software that will change how clients engage with financial advice.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end APIs and data workflows.
• Build front-end components as needed to integrate and test features end to end.
• Collaborate with the product manager and other developers in agile sprints.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions across the full stack.
• Support testing, iteration, and refinement throughout alpha, beta, and live phases.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for someone with:

• 4+ years of experience in full stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript ).
• Proficiency with React (or similar) on the front end and Node.js, Express, or similar on the back end.
• Solid experience working with RESTful APIs, databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or MongoDB), and Git-based workflows.
• A clear understanding of secure, modular, and testable architecture.
• Experience delivering end-to-end features in agile, iterative teams.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Worked in a regulated or financial services environment (e.g. WealthTech, FinTech, InsurTech).
• Experience deploying to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Vercel, or Heroku).
• Familiarity with authentication (OAuth2, JWT) and data privacy best practices.
• Exposure to performance monitoring or observability tooling.
