Royal Mail International is seeking a dynamic Head of Export Sales to lead the transformation of our £200m+ export profit centre. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our export business, working at the forefront of global e-commerce and logistics innovation.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the strategic transformation of a key export profit centre serving over 15,000 business customers.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through commercial engagement and customer-focused innovation.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of 9 international sales experts.
  • Own and execute the export sales strategy, including pipeline development and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pricing, legal, and commercial to deliver results.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve sales performance.
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies and competitive positioning to accelerate deal closure.

About you

Proven senior leadership experience in sales, marketing, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
Strong background in international export logistics and customs, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and delivering sustainable sales growth.
Skilled in sales analytics, incentive design, and performance management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Deep understanding of e-commerce export trends and digital technologies.
Degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications are a plus.
Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
