- Proven leadership experience in finance operations, with expertise in AP and AR.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to maintain accuracy and compliance while managing high‑volume transactions.
- Advanced Excel, Navision/Business Central knowledge would be an advantage.
Place of Work
Hybrid (minimum 3 days a week, split between Wilson Street and East Acton). Fixed‑term 12–18 months.
Overview Of The Role
The Head of Finance Transaction will lead and oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions for the Wonderfield Group – UK. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring robust internal controls, timely processing of financial transactions, and continuous improvement across finance operations. The position will manage a team of AP and AR professionals and drive initiatives to optimise processes, enhance automation, and maintain compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop AP and AR teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and provide coaching to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Design and implement strategies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of AP and AR processes.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to reduce manual effort and enhance controls.
- Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, segregation of duties, and Delegation of Authority policies.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Responsible for supplier payments and customer collections, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure supplier statement reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure customer debt collection process is effective and timely.
- Collaborate with the wider finance support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on transactional finance matters, providing insights and recommendations.
