Head of Finance – UK Wholesale Division (Food Manufacturing & Distribution)

A leading international food group is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Finance to support its fast‑growing UK Wholesale Division. This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of a business with strong growth, investment and an ambitious strategic agenda.

Acting as a Finance Business Partner to the Divisional MD and senior leadership team, you will drive performance, financial control and commercial insight across multiple UK sites. You will lead divisional reporting, forecasting and planning while influencing key operational and strategic decisions across the network.

This is a high‑impact, mobile leadership role offering genuine visibility across the business. The position involves approximately 50% UK travel, visiting sites and engaging with regional teams, and 50% working from home, giving a balance of flexibility and engagement.

Key Experience

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with significant post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in FMCG, food manufacturing or multi‑site distribution.
• Proven ability to lead financial control, business partnering and commercial analysis.
• Skilled in stakeholder influence and operational performance improvement.
• Highly adaptable, hands‑on, and ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, relationship‑driven environment.

Location

Ideally based along the M6 corridor near West Midlands or Stoke‑on‑Trent – ensuring easy access to sites across the UK.

Remuneration
