Head of Finance - Co Kildare

MCS Group are looking for a Head of Finance to join a commercial semi-state organisation based in Co Kildare.

Our client is a well known semi-state organisation based in Co Kildare and have multiple sites across Ireland. They have a range of business units that provide multiple services to their extensive customers base. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to add a Head of Finance to their finance function.

As the successful Head of Finance, you will receive the following:

• €90-100k (negotiable) + extensive benefits;
• Flexible/hybrid working options (2 days office/3 days home);
• Pension (6.5% matched);

As the successful Head of Finance you will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight for core finance operations;
• Oversee month-end & year-end close;
• Oversee banking & cash flow forecasting;
• Continuous improvement of internal controls;
• Liaise with key stakeholders;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The successful Head of Finance will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA;
• Open to industry or semi-state background;
• Strong management experience;
• Strong communication skills.
