We are looking for a strategic finance leader with a strong background in financial services. The role of Head of Finance is to join a growing international financial services company, based in Leeds.

This is a hybrid role offering 3 days WFH, 30 days holiday + stats, BUPA and a highly competitive salary.

In this key leadership role supporting an experienced CFO you’ll be responsible for driving financial strategy, overseeing financial performance, and supporting senior decision-making across the business. You’ll lead and mentor a talented finance team including the Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, and FP&A functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across key disciplines
• Own financial planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards
• Work closely with executive leadership to shape financial strategy
• Deliver insight-led reporting to support commercial decision-making
• Be a key voice in continuous improvement, system optimisation, and risk management

Requirements:

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within financial services
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, planning and control
• Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
