Head of Forensic Business Management & Communications - Join to apply for the Head of Forensic Business Management & Communications role at Police Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Assist and advise the Director in the strategic management, leadership and direction of Forensic Services in relation to Corporate Services, Infrastructure and Support provided both within Forensic Services and through service back arrangements.
- Lead Forensic Services external relations function, developing and delivering a communications and engagement strategy that promotes transparency of business operations and maintains the reputation of Forensic Services and its contribution to the criminal justice system.
- Direct managerial responsibility for liaison and provision of all Business Management functionality across Forensic Services including the co-ordinat ion of all engagement and communication with the Authority’s Board and Committee meetings.
- Manage all Forensic Services Infrastructure and Support services by working with key partners and stakeholders in Forensic Services and being responsible for services supporting all operational activity.
- Lead the management and development of all current operating systems in line with the Forensic Services Strategy, ensuring technological service and forensic intelligence development leads to improved Justice Outcomes in Scotland.
- Manage Forensic Systems Support Team, Communications and Engagement, Productions and Logistics, Forensic Services Gateway, Business Administration, Facilities Management and all Corporate Support Activities required by Forensic Services.
