Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Geography Department to raise student achievement.
- Shape and implement a vision for Geography across the school.
- Demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and vision; commitment to improving the lives of young people.
- Support innovation, take risks where appropriate, and share good practice.
- Drive inclusion and ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the department.
- Engage in professional learning and contribute to the school culture.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Evidence of innovative teaching and a commitment to improving student outcomes.
- Ability to share and implement the department vision for Geography.
- Willingness to be immersed in professional learning and school-wide initiatives.
- A track record of inclusive practice and effective leadership in a school setting.
