Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Geography Department to raise student achievement.
• Shape and implement a vision for Geography across the school.
• Demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and vision; commitment to improving the lives of young people.
• Support innovation, take risks where appropriate, and share good practice.
• Drive inclusion and ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the department.
• Engage in professional learning and contribute to the school culture.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Evidence of innovative teaching and a commitment to improving student outcomes.
• Ability to share and implement the department vision for Geography.
• Willingness to be immersed in professional learning and school-wide initiatives.
• A track record of inclusive practice and effective leadership in a school setting.
