Head of Governance and Risk at Amplius. A strategic leadership role focused on corporate governance and risk management, acting as Company Secretary and advising the Executive and Board on governance matters.

Location

Hybrid working, minimum of 1 day per week in Amplius offices.

Salary

Up to £85,000 per year

36.25 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Act as Company Secretary to Amplius and its subsidiaries.
  • Provide advice and support to Board and Committee Members to support them in the delivery of their duties as necessary.
  • Review and coordinate the risk management process, including reviews of the risk register, ensuring a coordinated and up-to-date mitigation strategy, and regular reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee and the Board.
  • Manage highly sensitive and complex information, working with senior colleagues across the organisation, to ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and policies, exercising diplomacy and understanding within the regulatory environment.

Your toolkit for success

  • An industry-recognised Company Secretary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work proactively and own deliverables, delivering to a high standard and on time.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Balance risk with operational needs.
