Baguley Athletic FC is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Head of Grants and Fundraising to help secure vital funding and partnerships that will support our growth and long-term sustainability.

Role Overview

As our Head of Grants and Fundraising, you’ll play a vital leadership role in shaping the club’s future. This is a voluntary position, ideal for someone with grant writing, fundraising, or sponsorship experience who wants to give back through grassroots sport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering a grants and fundraising strategy aligned with the club’s ambitions.
  • Identifying and securing grants from sporting bodies, local councils, trusts, and foundations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Coordinating fundraising campaigns and events for players, families, and the wider community.
  • Exploring new and innovative ways to generate income streams for the club.
  • Reporting progress and impact to the club committee.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in grant applications, fundraising, or sponsorship (sport or community background is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A self-starter who can bring fresh ideas and energy to the role.
  • Passion for grassroots football and community engagement.
