Job Title: Head of Group Regulatory Policy – Corporate Affairs

Location(s): London

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Hybrid, 40% (two days) in our London Office

What You’ll Do

  • Provide regulatory policy leadership across Lloyds Banking Group on your portfolio, advising the executive of the UK’s largest retail and commercial bank. The focus is on the consumer agenda, with opportunities to input across other regulatory topics.
  • Act as a partner and convener for senior leaders to proactively define evidence-based policy priorities, create persuasive messages, and deliver them.
  • Distill complex regulatory policy into clear communications, policy positions and external regulatory input; monitor and assess regulatory developments and trends.
  • Develop a strong network of external relationships to maintain an effective dialogue and information flow.
  • Foster an agile, engaged team that can collaborate in a fast-paced environment across changing issues.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in a Communications role within financial services or related sectors.
  • Experience leading a team of qualified communications professionals within a Group Corporate Affairs function at executive level.
  • Strong awareness of regulatory and economic trends, a track record of generating policy solutions, and an external network.
  • Relevant technical regulatory experience and understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and evidence of delivering effective advocacy programmes.
