We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of HR to join the business. This opportunity will see you partner strategically and operationally with two of our fantastic business categories playing a crucial role in driving the people agenda coupled with leading complex change projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the people processes to ensure the organisation has the necessary critical capabilities and fostering the ongoing development of talent for key roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all HR practices providing an employee‑oriented high performance culture emphasising quality, productivity, goal attainment, and empowerment.
- Lead and facilitate transformational change programmes.
- Act as a talent expert, understanding the workforce plan, driving skill development and identifying talent for roles.
- Work closely with the wider HR teams across the Ulrich 3 box model to support and deliver for the business areas.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the business category leadership teams in the UK.
As the successful candidate, you will bring a wealth of HR and complex change management experience and the ability to navigate within a complex matrix organisation. You will have a proven track record of operating as a strategic HR professional within a senior leadership team, contributing to the broader business agenda. Your ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders at all levels within the matrix will be a key strength, complemented by your deep understanding of our business from a commercial perspective. Resilience will be a defining quality, allowing you to thrive in ambiguous environments and navigate yourself and stakeholders towards positive solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Developing and coaching senior leaders to deliver in a high‑performing team environment that enables people to be their best.
- Achieving results through strong influencing, communication and collaboration skills.
- Leading and managing complex change through the effective use of organisation design, development and business transformation techniques.
- Experience in employee/labour relations.
- Experience working in an FMCG environment is desirable.

- Salary circa £85,000 (depending on experience).
