Your Mission:

· Strategic Sales Delivery- Lead the development and execution of our inflight sales strategy in partnership with the commercial team, driving onboard revenue and customer satisfaction.

· Supplier & Contract Management- Oversee inflight retail suppliers to ensure contractual compliance across stock availability, bar packing, EPOS, crew food and catering schedules. Holding regular performance and governance meetings.

· Crew Engagement & Commission- Set sales per head targets, manage commission structures and work cross functionally to support crew awareness, engagement and incentives for inflight retail sales.

· Operational Efficiency- Lead the planning and execution of bar optimisation, dynamic loading and EPOS functionality, ensuring compliance with aircraft weight limits and crew service expectations.

· Compliance & Safety Oversight – Work with Cabin Safety and compliance teams to uphold high safety standards onboard. Including food safety, disruptive passenger protocols and safety net processes.

· Budget Management- Own inflight retail cost controls and budgeting, working with finance teams to manage OPEX and forecast future spend in line with strategic initiatives.

· Innovation & Sustainability- Champion new solutions such as pre order, EU duty free and closed loop Wi-Fi while leading sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and improve inflight retail environmental impact.

· Data & BI Reporting- Ensure data led decision making through BI reporting and EPOS insights to track trends, drive improvements and align with broader commercial goals.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

· Proven experience in inflight retail, onboard sales, or commercial operations. Ideally within aviation, travel, hospitality, or FMCG.

· Strong leadership background with a passion for developing teams and inspiring cross functional collaboration.

· Commercially sharp with experience managing supplier relationships, contracts and service level delivery.

· Experience leading retail focused change programmes or new product launches.

· Deep understanding of stock optimisation and fraud/loss prevention practices.

· Budget ownership experience with the ability to balance cost control with customer and crew satisfaction.

· Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

· A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, operational excellence and sustainability.

Location & Hours of Work

This 24 month fixed term contract role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week, with some occasional travel required.
