We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head of Information Security to join our team. This is an exciting time to be part of our organization as we navigate a period of significant growth and change.

We are seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Head of Information Security to lead our security initiatives and fortify our defenses in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a deep technical understanding, outstanding people management skills, and a strong grasp of cybersecurity governance. You will be instrumental in shaping our security culture, mitigating risks, and ensuring our organization is resilient against evolving threats.

Responsibilities

It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You'll do well here if you bring:

  • Technical leadership & strategy - including leading the development and execution of our cybersecurity strategy, aligning it with business objectives and risk appetite.
  • People management & stakeholder engagement - including building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing cybersecurity team, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and excellence.
  • Governance, risk & compliance (GRC) - including establishing and maintaining robust cybersecurity frameworks and policies, drawing upon standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and others.
  • Suitable security & adaptability - operating effectively in a fast-paced environment, making timely decisions and adapting to evolving challenges and managing risk appropriately while ensuring robust security controls safeguard business operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior cybersecurity leadership role, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Technical expertise in a wide range of security domains, including network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and incident response.
  • Demonstrable experience with and understanding of leading security tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, people management, and team-building skills.
  • Strong track record of successfully managing and developing cybersecurity teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2.
  • Experience in managing security audits and achieving certifications.
  • Proven ability to manage security risk and implement effective GRC programs.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to balance security needs with business objectives.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
