Your Role

This is a pivotal role within our Talent Development team, where you\'ll shape the entire learner journey from programme design to delivery ensuring it\'s engaging, intuitive, and impactful. As Head of Learning Experience, you’ll collaborate not only across our region but also globally, sharing best practices and driving the implementation of international learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive, and continuously improve, the overall user experience to ensure it is intuitive, accessible, and engaging for our people.
  • Oversee the implementation of clear and welcoming onboarding processes for new starters and those moving into new roles in the business that are reflective of our EVP. This involves working with the Employee Experience and HSEQ teams to ensure a seamless and engaging experience.
  • Manage content on the L&D intranet pages, the curation of content, and creation of learning journeys in our Learning Management System, and other digital learning platforms.
  • Support the L&D team with the adoption of our learning technology into the designs of their learning solutions, so that we have a holistic and engaging learning offering that supports career development and growth.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of learning content, adopting both agile and waterfall methodologies. Manage the roll out of Global digital training initiatives.
  • Define and manage an efficient process for external training. Ensure accurate recording of external training completion in our LMS and work with Procurement to quality assess vendors used for high volume training requests.
  • Line manage and develop the L&D Co-ordinator and Instructional Design Consultant to deliver our digital learning priorities and provide a seamless service to those who look to L&D for help and support.
  • Gather accurate Management Information (MI) on usage, engagement, and completion from our LMS and other digital platforms, and analysing this content for trends and opportunities to continuously improve the learner experience.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate

  • Proven track record of strategic and operational L&D delivery, including the evaluation of the impact of these initiatives.
  • Experience in digital learning strategy, design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of User Experience (UX) methods and practices which can be applied to learning experience.
  • Working knowledge of a global LMS (Oracle preferred)
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility as part of the leadership team, working cross-functionally to deliver on commitments and drive results
  • Strong ability to gather and support accurate management information to enable a data-driven approach to learning needs analysis. Skilled in identifying internal and external trends to deliver insightful, value-added solutions to operational challenges
  • Proven experience leading and collaborating with both in-person and virtual teams, contributing to a strong team culture across the UK HR function and senior leadership groups.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple time zones, with a strong focus on communication, coordination, and team cohesion.
