Head of Operational Finance

Core3 are delighted to partner with a forward-thinking professional services firm to recruit a Head of Operational Finance role in Bristol

This role is all about reshaping how operational finance is seen and felt across a fast-moving professional services business. You'll join a growing, people-focused company that's not afraid to challenge the status quo. How you'll make an impact

You'll lead a team across billing, revenue, payables, receivables - and more importantly, you'll lead change. You'll challenge "we've always done it this way," and help the business deliver finance operations that are accurate, timely and, above all, helpful. strategic direction and driving operational finance performance across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing the Finance Operations team
• Overseeing daily financial operations including billing, AP/AR, and revenue control
• Acting as a key business partner to internal departments to enhance service delivery
• Driving continuous improvement projects across systems, processes, and client service
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
• Contributing to wider leadership initiatives and embedding a high-performance finance culture
