Turbine Repair Technologies is a component repair joint venture between Rolls-Royce and Chromalloy based near Alfreton, Derbyshire. It is an integral part of the Aftermarket Operations organisation repairing a variety of turbine aerofoil components from legacy RB211 through to the latest Trent products. Their coating capability is unmatched across the repair network with significant multi-million pound capability investment having been made in recent years. The business has an annual turnover of ~£20m with close to 200 employees.

This Operations Manager role is one of 2 leadership positions that Rolls-Royce nominates into the joint venture, reporting directly to the General Manager. It is a unique position where the successful candidate has the opportunity to influence the operational and financial outcomes of a small / medium enterprise whilst still being part of a large corporate business.

The role is to lead, inspire and coach the operations organisation. It is accountable for ensuring that customer commitments are met in full, measured against agreed HSE, quality, cost, delivery, people and responsiveness standards. Ensuring the business operationally performs is at the heart of day to day activity but the vision to transform the business will be what makes the successful candidate standout.
