Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support Rochdale Borough Council and its sports, culture and leisure delivery partner, Your Trust, in delivering a programme of ambitious projects and programmes.

The role of Head of Partnership Delivery is responsible for leading the relationship between the Council and Your Trust. In addition, the role is the strategic lead for the development of high-quality leisure and sport provision across the borough.

The role also has project management responsibility for the leisure-related capital developments including Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre redevelopment, major improvement works at leisure sites, new boroughwide leisure projects and community / school leisure capital projects.

In addition, there is the opportunity to influence the cultural offer within the borough through supporting capital developments at Heywood Civic Centre, Touchstones and leading the development of future capital funding bids.

The post will act as the key Council point of contact for Your Trust and lead the co-ordination of different council departments (e.g. finance, estates, legal, environmental management etc.) to progress projects and resolve queries as required

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach and an ability to work through complexity to problem solve. Experience and ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities and see them through to completion is required to be successful in the role.
