What you’ll do and how you will succeed in this role will involve building and managing partnerships across the EMEA region, collaborating with global teams, and driving growth for Athos Commerce’s product portfolio in partnership with a robust ecosystem of agencies, system integrators, platforms, and technology vendors.
What You’ll Do
Athos Commerce has built strong, strategic relationships with a global network of partners across diverse regions and partnership models. As Head of the Partnerships, EMEA, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy and business plan that aligns with Athos Commerce’s global strategy. This role delivers measurable value to our partners and their customers across a wide range of retail verticals and acts as a bridge between EMEA partners and global teams.
Strong leadership is essential to our Go-To-Market strategy, helping to drive growth for Athos Commerce’s product portfolio and expand our presence within an ecosystem of leading ecommerce agencies, system integrators, platforms, and technology vendors. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with teams across strategy, product, sales, marketing, finance, and legal. You will work alongside key executives to ensure that innovation and growth remain central to our overall company strategy.
How You Will Succeed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with active and prospective partners to drive pipeline with defined mutual targets
- Recruit new agency partners based on Athos Commerce’s global partner criteria
- Develop regional partner assets that feed into Athos’s global playbook
- Generate qualified sales opportunities from partners by hosting partner awareness sessions, co-marketing initiatives, and events
- Provide partners with product training and regular enablement demonstrations
- Act as liaison between partners, sales, and customer success teams
- Assist in the development of joint partner assets including white papers, best practices, web content, press releases, case studies, articles, and other resources
- Lead the overall strategic planning and execution for Athos Commerce Partnerships from identifying key partners to implementation of the strategy
- Work closely with product leaders and other stakeholders to communicate partnership product investment strategy using research and trends
- Collaborate with product and GTM leaders to align regional opportunities with global priorities
- Develop a strategic partnership pipeline with executives and vertical teams and conduct analyses to fulfil objectives
- Develop operating metrics with Finance, Sales, Analytics, and Marketing to track and improve performance
- Act as internal and external evangelist for Athos Commerce’s partnerships at industry events and through strategic communications
- Perform market analysis on competitive landscape, industry trends, and partnership opportunities to inform strategy
- Communicate the Athos Commerce Global vision, value proposition, product roadmap, and Go-To-Market strategy across the partner network
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Partner Management roles, specifically focused on ecommerce agencies, system integrators, ecommerce platforms and tech vendors
- Excellent contacts within mid-market to mid-enterprise European ecommerce agencies
- Experience evaluating market forecast and trends, market dynamics, product performance, competitive intelligence, and cross-functional processes
- A strategic leader with a track record of delivering partnership strategies and achieving revenue goals
- Proven success in building and scaling a regional partner ecosystem and contributing to global strategy
- Experience aligning organizational and vertical strategies with corporate plans
- Strong product and partnership knowledge to understand good implementations and experiences
- Excellent listening and people skills, proactive driver, and diplomacy in challenging situations
- Ability to articulate strategy through narratives and customer stories for multiple audiences
- Data-driven approach to monitoring performance of initiatives
- Experience with budgets/targets, forecasting and variance tracking
- Ability to navigate a wide range of situations from long-term thinking to high-priority escalations
- Experience collaborating across all levels of the organization, customers, and external partners with professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Proven experience aligning regional strategies with global objectives
