Are you an experienced and strategic HR leader, ready to drive transformational change? Join the RSC as our Head of People Operations & Organisation Development and lead the evolution of our people strategy across a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.

What You'll Do

What Makes This Special

You'll manage the full P&C Operations and Development budget whilst leading a team of specialist colleagues across productivity, performance, people capability, and employee relations. Working closely with the Director of People and Culture and senior leadership, you'll fully own operational HR and have genuine influence over our organisational strategy and delivery.

A credible, pragmatic HR expert who thrives on complexity and can balance strategic vision with operational excellence and a mature approach to risk management. You'll need deep people expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive culture change at scale.

This role is office-based (either Cambridge or London) and we embrace hybrid working. So you will be able to blend attending the office regularly to build stakeholder relationships and networks, meet with the team, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, with working from home or elsewhere.
