These opportunities don’t come around often, so this really is a position not to be missed.***About the role**The Head of portfolio is responsible for managing the portfolio of projects under our pillars, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and providing a holistic view of our roadmap. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning and optimizing our strategic initiatives across these domains, ensuring a cohesive and synchronized approach to delivery while overcoming organizational challenges that hinder value delivery.The Head of Portfolio for Operations will be the custodian of the change roadmap as agreed with the Chief Operating Officer with the support of Programme and Project Managers and will be responsible for planning, initiating and delivering projects and programmes in line with our strategic objectives.Regulatory environment experience is essential, specifically within UK Financial Services including large scale Customer Contact Centres. Experience with Field Service Operations is beneficial, but not essential.**Key Responsibilities*** Aligns strategies and initiatives across teams within the pillar to ensure a holistic and synergistic approach to achieving organizational goals.* Drives transformation for the pillars, in line with the wider transformation initiative.* Facilitates communication and collaboration between the respective pillars, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and identifying opportunities for cross-functional projects.* Drives common processes, methodologies, and agile best practices for product and project work, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality.* Identifies and addresses organisational blockers that impede the timely and successful execution of initiatives within the pillar, proposing innovative solutions to overcome these challenges.* Leads, mentors, and coaches the team, providing guidance on portfolio management, strategic planning, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.* Collaborates with key stakeholders, product managers, development teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and gather insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.* Works closely with the performance operations team to allocate necessary resources to support the initiatives within the pillar.* Where required leads a team of Portfolio Leads/Programme Managers, guiding them in implementing efficient ways of working and fostering collaboration.* Enhances performance and efficiency within the pillar teams while fostering agile ways of working to meet evolving business needs.**Knowledge and Expertise*** Proven experience and expertise in Project Management delivery across multiple delivery methods (Waterfall, Agile etc..)* Experience of using Agile tooling e.g. JIRA & Confluence, and experience of leading & working as part of an Agile team* Process and organisational change experience required* Contact Centre Business Change delivery experience required* Service / Complaints handling experience beneficial**We offer lots of great benefits!
