About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Global Head of Procurement to lead the negotiation and management of major technology contracts across the enterprise. This role will be pivotal in driving value, risk mitigation, and innovation through our global supplier relationships, particularly in software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and consulting services.

The successful candidate will be a confident dealmaker, capable of navigating complex, high-value contract negotiations across multiple geographies, with executive-level stakeholders and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the end-to-end procurement strategy for technology spend, including software licensing, infrastructure, SaaS, digital services, and major outsourcing agreements
  2. Own and drive global commercial negotiations for critical technology contracts, ensuring commercial value, risk protection, and alignment with strategic goals
  3. Build and lead a high-performing global procurement team, ensuring regional alignment and best practice sharing
  4. Develop and enforce robust contract governance frameworks, working closely with legal, finance, and IT
  5. Drive supplier performance management and long-term strategic relationships with key vendors and partners
  6. Partner with CIO, CTO, CFO, and business unit leaders to align procurement outcomes with wider transformation goals
  7. Identify and deliver cost savings, operational efficiencies, and innovation opportunities through procurement strategies
  8. Monitor market trends and benchmarks to inform commercial positioning and vendor selection

Ideal Candidate Profile

  1. Proven track record in a global procurement leadership role, specifically within technology
  2. Extensive experience negotiating and managing complex, high-value tech contracts (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Workday, Salesforce, etc.)
  3. Strong knowledge of IT category management, commercial models, licensing agreements, and supplier risk frameworks
  4. Executive presence and credibility in engaging with C-level stakeholders and board-level vendors
  5. Confident managing a distributed global team and working across legal, finance, and technical functions
  6. Strong analytical, financial modelling, and contractual skills
  7. Able to influence outcomes in complex, matrixed environments
