We’re looking to resource a high-impact Head of Product – Commerce to lead our client's vision, strategy, and delivery of cutting-edge invoicing, payments, and reconciliation capabilities across a complex, multi-market product landscape.

You’ll take ownership of a product function critical to how transactions are initiated, processed, and settled across European marketplaces. From automated billing to real-time payment flows, compliance automation to fintech partnerships — you’ll be building the financial backbone of our client's fast-scaling SaaS and marketplace ecosystem.

What you'll be doing:

• Define and lead the end-to-end commerce product strategy across invoicing, payments, reconciliation, and compliance systems.
  
  
• Own and evolve the roadmap for Stripe-powered billing and payment platforms.
  
  
• Lead and inspire a talented team of Product Managers across Payments, Tax & Compliance, and Financial Intelligence.
  
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Compliance to deliver secure, scalable, API-first financial products.
  
  
• Drive efficiency and revenue growth through automation and innovative fintech integrations.
  
  
• Act as a senior stakeholder, communicating product value at executive level and engaging customers to shape tailored financial experiences.
  
  

• Roll up their sleeves, get into the detail, and actively contribute to solutions when needed.
  
  
• Adapt their communication and leadership style to different people, teams, or situations to build trust and get results.
  
  
• Unite cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and take full ownership of outcomes.
  
  

• 10+ years of product leadership, with a strong focus on digital commerce, payments, or financial systems in SaaS, fintech, or marketplace environments.
  
  
• Demonstrable expertise with Stripe or similar payment gateways.
  
  
• Deep understanding of EU financial compliance including VAT, PSD2, AML, and PSP licensing.
  
  
• Proven success leading large-scale B2B financial product initiatives.
  
  
• Technical fluency in API-first architecture, and ideally exposure to AI/ML tools for predictive finance, fraud detection, and reconciliation.
  
  
• Strong communicator and relationship-builder with the ability to influence at all levels.
  
  

• Previous exposure to regulated sectors such as fintech or B2B marketplaces.
  
  
• Familiarity with embedded finance, BNPL, or digital wallets.
  
  
• Pan-European product delivery experience and multilingual capabilities.
