TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a highly regarded and well-established law firm in Cheltenham, who are now seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to lead their Residential Property Department.

This is a unique opportunity to join a top-tier firm at a senior leadership level, offering the autonomy to shape the future direction of the conveyancing team. It is a key strategic hire, with the incoming head expected to play a central role in the firm’s continued growth.

The Role:

As Head of Residential Conveyancing, you will:

• Take overall responsibility for the management and performance of the conveyancing team

• Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and support staff

• Oversee a manageable caseload of complex residential matters (including HNW clients and bespoke transactions)

• Drive business development and contribute to the firm’s strategic goals

• Ensure compliance, quality control, and a first-class client experience

You will be joining a respected firm with a strong existing client base, offering the ideal platform for an ambitious solicitor ready to take the next step in their career.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with:

• 5+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience

• A strong technical skill set across the full range of property transactions

• Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to business development

• A passion for delivering exceptional client service

Experience working within a busy department or high street environment is advantageous, and a natural aptitude for leadership and mentoring is essential.
