You’ll join us in Group Finance Support (part of GFS), a key function within the Finance community of LBG. We’re a team of c.300 colleagues, with responsibilities including financial reporting and control, people and culture initiatives and strategy implementation. The team are in the middle of a significant Transformation journey and you will be part of influencing, designing and implementing Finance Transformation over the next few years, both within Group Finance Support and beyond!**Day to day, you will:*** Drive and positively influence key internal and external partners including Divisional Finance Directors, Risk Partners and our external auditors* Provide challenge, insight and decision support to the Retail and Insurance Finance teams to improve business controls and performance* Responsible for ensuring robust risk management processes, including SOX and Risk OpenPages, are embedded within the team, and provide a ‘no-surprises’, high quality Financial Control environment* Own and be accountable in driving resolution of issues at pace, collaborating effectively across teams to get the best solution for LBG* Lead the team to support Transformation, including leading and influencing the design and delivery into the key areas of activity* Build, lead and develop a successful professional, resilient and driven Finance team.* Drive an environment of continuous improvement, in particular through data improvement and use of automation and AI tools* As a key member of the Leadership team, drive the cultural change to ensure that the team is well placed to deliver for now and for the future**Why Lloyds Banking Group**We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good.
