Overview
This is a rare opportunity to join an innovative, award-winning charity that prides itself on delivering excellence. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will have overall responsibility for the quality, delivery, development, and strategic leadership of our operational services, including:
- Independent Living coordination
- Hospital Discharge
- Dementia support
- Information & Advice
- Paid-for home support services
You will be the organisational lead for safeguarding, health and safety, and quality assurance, ensuring that services are safe, high-performing, person-centred, and continuously improving.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and management of operational services
- Champion safeguarding, health and safety, and quality assurance across all services
- Ensure services are safe, high-performing, person-centred, and continuously improving
- Lead on performance, contracts, compliance, and culture
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experienced senior leader with a background in social care, health, or the voluntary sector
- Confident people manager with ability to develop and motivate teams (our team includes over 90 staff and 100+ volunteers)
- Strong focus on performance management, contracts, compliance, and culture
- Comfortable presenting KPIs to trustees and engaging with customers in community settings
- Proven experience in managing innovative, high-quality frontline services
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Confidence in safeguarding, health and safety, HR, and quality standards
- Collaborative, flexible, and values-driven leadership
- Excellent IT and data literacy with a solid understanding of contractual performance
