Head of Engineering – London / Remote – Permanent

Oculus Technology Solutions is supporting a high-growth organisation in their search for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead a globally distributed technical function with a strong emphasis on pre-sales strategy and technical engagement.

This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of commercial strategy, technical architecture, and customer-centric innovation. You’ll be steering a team that plays a critical role in shaping how complex solutions are positioned, validated, and delivered across enterprise engagements.

What You’ll Be Driving

• Lead and scale a global technical function focused on pre-sales excellence and solution design
• Develop and refine methodologies for technical discovery, stakeholder engagement, and solution validation
• Collaborate with commercial teams to craft compelling technical narratives and RFP responses
• Act as a strategic interface between client requirements and product capabilities
• Maintain deep domain expertise to advise on integration, architecture, and compliance nuances
• Influence product evolution through insights surfaced during technical engagements

What You Bring

• 4+ years in a technical pre-sales or solution engineering leadership role
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
• Strong grasp of SaaS architectures, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
• Ability to translate technical complexity into commercially viable solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences

This is a remote-first role, open to candidates across the UK, EMEA, LATAM, and potentially APAC. The interview process will consist of three structured stages, shared upfront.
