I'm working with a sports marketing agency who are currently looking to recruit a Head of Sponsorship Strategy & Development to join their business. This role will take a lead on partnership research, introducing activation strategies and working closely with global brands looking to emerge into the sports sector. Huge growth opportunities available with the business. East London/Essex - Flexible Working.

Job Responsibilities

  • Worked directly with brands looking to emerge into the commercial sports sector
  • Lead the scoping and research project, understand brand goals to help deliver the best partnership proposal possible across multiple sports
  • Work directly on the delivery on the partnership, management of the rights and activation process
  • Drive relationships by attending sporting events and global events across the UK and globally to build network and client base
  • Lead the research team, using insights and data to work directly with brands and rights-holders
  • Working directly with the senior leadership team across all partnership related projects
  • Overseeing a small team and full budget management

Candidate Specification

  • Experience in a sports partnership activation/strategy role for the past 5 years
  • Experience working with global brands
  • Articulate thinker, someone who is able to use insights and data led approach to target brands
  • Management experience, leading a small team of 3
  • Excellent relationship management and sports marketing experience
  • Hands-on approach
