Head of Talent (Attraction & Recruitment) – Law Firm
City Law Firm – 12 month fixed‑term contract – London (hybrid working)
Salary: £80k‑£110k (DoE)+ and great benefits.
Overview
Our client, a leading City Law Firm, is looking for an interim Head of Talent / Head of Recruitment with strong recruitment and talent acquisition experience ideally gained in a legal or professional services environment, to join their HR department.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop effective working relationships with partners and line managers across the firm.
- Provide hiring managers with advice, guidance and support to deliver a consistent and fair approach to recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Manage the end‑to‑end senior‑level recruitment process through direct and indirect sourcing methods and identify the best strategies to attract senior individuals.
- Proactively use recruitment platforms to advertise roles.
- Create innovative hiring solutions adaptable to the ever‑changing market.
- Ensure the company’s diversity and inclusion objectives are aligned with recruitment strategies.
- Manage data to drive recruitment decisions and prepare reports for the SMT.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar strategic and operational Senior Talent / Recruitment management role, ideally in legal or professional services.
- Experience in senior‑level recruitment.
- Proven track record of delivering senior‑level recruitment solutions and projects in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing team members.
- Solid track record of working with senior management / senior stakeholders.
- Ability to use data successfully to assist decision‑making and reporting on ROI.
- Excellent project management and impeccable organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and excellent relationship management with proven ability to gain credibility at all levels.
- IT literate, including MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong academics.
