Main purpose of the role

We have a rare opportunity for a Head Of Technology and Cybersecurity to join us, based from our Doncaster head office with hybrid working. Reporting into the IT Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the design, build, operation, support, and security of Keepmoat Homes’ technology and information systems landscape.

The Head of Technology and Cybersecurity will be responsible for the four operational domains of the IT function: Service Delivery, Technical Services, Information Systems and Cybersecurity, in addition to the solutions and systems architecture team.

They will work with the Group IT Director and the other members of the senior IT leadership team to enhance and support the growth and evolution of the company through the effective deployment and use of people, processes and technology driven solutions. Responsible for defining and managing the general IT Policy Framework and ensuring that it is implemented effectively, the postholder will also be responsible for defining the Cybersecurity strategy and continuously reviewing its effectiveness.

This role also encompasses management of the four operational domains and we are looking for a confident leader who will shape, develop and lead a motivated, engaged and high-performing team.

Skills, knowledge & experience

We are looking for someone with an extensive knowledge and experience of all domains who fits with our core values here at Keepmoat;

  • Passionate about technology and security with a desire to deliver and the ability to adapt to a fast-moving IT landscape and keep pace with latest thinking and new security technologies
  • Collaborative with strong stakeholder management experience and a strong customer focus and the ability to meet the demands of internal and external customers
  • Creative thinking with the ability to look at alternatives and consider new ways of thinking to problem solve
  • Uses a straightforward and commercial approach to their work, including when managing and negotiating outsourced contracts
  • Experience within the housebuilding/construction sectors would be desirable.
