Overview

Our client is a fast-growing IT consultancy specialising in cloud solutions, with a focus on cloud cost optimisation. They are seeking a Head of Technology to own high-level project and delivery management across multiple client engagements. This is a leadership role balancing strategic oversight with technical understanding in a dynamic, multi-project environment. You will report to management and work within a team of 8, including 4 engineers, with a flat management structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project and delivery management across several concurrent cloud-focused client engagements.
• Ensure successful end-to-end delivery, working closely with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee project timelines, dependencies and risks, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Support scoping and solution design at a high level, with awareness of cloud platforms and optimisation strategies.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the technology function as the business evolves.

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex IT or cloud projects across multiple clients.
• Strong delivery leadership with the ability to balance technical and commercial priorities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Background in consultancy or agency-style environments is advantageous.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a good understanding of cloud economics is desirable.

Compensation and Location

They offer a total compensation package of circa £100k plus the potential for equity in 2 years. This is a hybrid role based in London, with 3 days per week required in the London office.
