As the Head of Test Equipment UK & Retained Head of the Test Equipment Centre of Excellence (CofEx), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring MBDA meets both its delivery commitments and future needs for Test Equipment skills, capabilities and technologies.

Salary: Up to £100,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (Hybrid) working: Min of 3 days on-site

Security Clearance: British National required

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo SC clearance, which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead one of the key business areas within Electronic Engineering (EE) UK. As the Head of Test Equipment UK & Retained Head of the Test Equipment Centre of Excellence (CofEx), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring MBDA meets both its delivery commitments and future needs for Test Equipment skills, capabilities and technologies.

The Opportunity

As the Head of Test Equipment UK & Retained Head of the Test Equipment Centre of Excellence, you will be accountable for both the functional capability management as well as the delivery of UK projects, customers and factory Test Equipment. In the capacity of the Test Equipment Centre of Excellence retained capability, you will also be a key contributor in an international environment to steer the Centre of Excellence and shape its strategy, and part of a larger governance for Test Solutions in MBDA.

In addition to the day-to-day accountabilities, you will also be a member of both the EE UK Senior Leadership Team and the EE International Leadership Team. Operating as a senior member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the definition and implementation of the overall Electronic Engineering strategy, helping both EE and TE to prepare for future work load forecast.

It is fair to say, no two days are the same in this role and with a team of 120+ to help you deliver your mission, your accountabilities break down across 5 key domains.
