Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading all operational aspects of and assisting the transition of the business through franchising in the region.
  • Previous experience of working in Franchising is essential, ideally in the public transport sector.
  • The role will involve working closely with the relevant management teams across the business to ensure a seamless transition during periods of change.
  • You will need to have strong leadership skills to manage and motivate your team throughout this challenging period.
  • Communication will be key in this role; you will need to keep stakeholders up-to-date on progress and address any concerns they may have.
  • Ensuring minimal disruption to our services will also be a top priority, so you will need to think creatively to find solutions to any problems that arise.
  • Managing risk and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations will also form part of the role.
  • Report writing will be required along with preparing for presentations to senior management.

Experience And Qualifications Desired

  • This role requires experience of managing people and projects, ideally within the transport industry.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, both written and verbal.
  • A background in operations or project management would be beneficial but not essential.
  • A degree in Business Administration or similar would also be advantageous.
  • Experience in delivering high quality customer service would be desirable.
  • Confidence in dealing with Senior Management and being able to influence decision making processes is essential.
  • A full driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
