We currently have a strong portfolio of interesting projects worldwide and are currently growing our team of engineers. We are now looking to expand our team with a Head of our Transmission and Distribution System engineering team.

Duties and responsibilities

This is a full-time hybrid role as Head of Transmission and Distribution System Engineering team located in Ashford, where some work from home is also acceptable. The Head of Transmission and Distribution System Engineering role will be responsible for technical delivery, management, and development of the Transmission and Distribution System Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in engineering and delivery of engineering projects, particularly related to transmission and distribution systems
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of design standards (particularly transmission and distribution systems)
• Experience from business development in related fields
• Proven track record of delivering assignments to time, budget, and quality beyond client expectations
• Experience in team management and motivating team members
• Excellent communication, influencing, and inter-personal skills to develop good working relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and management skills is an additional advantag

The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance for power utilities in our core markets.

An ideal candidate should be results-oriented and should possess high technical ability, practical creativity, inter-personal effectiveness, and outstanding organizational and communication skills.
