Overview

Senior Property Underwriters are invited to join a ambitious property investment firm launching a new Property focused Insurance MGA. The role offers an equity stake and strong performance related bonuses. They would also consider a team move, so if you have a team you would like to bring, they can accommodate this from day 1.

Responsibilities

• Head up the launch of the new Property focused Insurance MGA and contribute to creating and working on a business plan to get the business launched.
• Work on capacity providers and the internal infrastructure, and onboard existing broker relationships while developing new ones.
• Drive underwriting performance and spearhead the development of underwriting strategies.
• Collaborate with investors to get the business off the ground and, subsequently, build a team.
• With accommodation for a current team, you may bring a small team (underwriters and an assistant underwriter) from the outset.

Qualifications

• Senior Property Underwriter. They would also consider a Senior Commercial Underwriter with strong property exposure within a combined role.

Location & Work Pattern

Based at their South Woodford office for at least 2 or 3 days a week; remaining days can be worked from home if preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary £150,000–£225,000 depending on experience, with equity stake and performance related bonuses. They are open to tailoring the package; higher salary requests will be considered.
